Through designing research studies, collaborating with others, and securing grants, I contribute to the development of innovative solutions and interventions that improve patient outcomes and benefit the healthcare community.

Currently, I am involved in an ongoing collaborative project that harnesses the power of sports to tackle health disparities. This initiative focuses on addressing issues such as cardiovascular risks, diabetes, childhood obesity, and high-risk social behaviors among middle school children in rural Indiana and Northern Uganda.
Clinical Expertise
Medical/Surgical Skills
Over the past 10 years of my medical career, I have successfully performed a wide range of surgical procedures in resource-limited settings. These include trauma wound care and repair, exploratory laparotomies for conditions such as intestinal obstruction, emergency and elective surgeries like herniorrhaphy (inguinal, inguino-scrotal, and femoral hernia), herniotomy, appendectomy, hydrocelectomy, Becker's cyst removal, safe male circumcisions, lipoma excisions, and the removal of benign masses. Throughout these procedures, I prioritize meticulous surgical techniques to ensure optimal patient recovery.
I am adept at taking comprehensive patient histories, conducting thorough clinical examinations, and performing appropriate investigations to accurately diagnose conditions and develop effective management plans.
Community Engagement
Giving back to the community.
To support the underprivileged community in Apac, Northern Uganda, I collaborate with Reach Apac, a non-profit organization, focusing on resource mobilization and organizing quarterly medical and surgical camps in the rural areas in Apac. These camps bring essential healthcare services to local communities. Additionally, I work with partners and friends to mobilize resources for scholarships, helping future healthcare professionals from Apac District pursue their careers.
